Judgment : M. Jaichandren, J. 1. Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the fifth respondent had submitted that the memorial meeting (prayer meeting) may be permitted to be held, between 08.30 a.m. and 09.30 a.m, on 30.08.2014, relating to the death anniversary of late G.K.Moopanar, near the statute erected in his memory, at Uchi Pillaiyar Koil Paguthi, Sarangapani East Street, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District. 3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 as well as the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, have no objection for such an order being passed, by this Court. 4. In such circumstances, the respondents 1 to 4 are directed to permit the fifth respondent to organise and conduct the memorial meeting (prayer meeting), between 08.30 a.m. to 09.30 a.m., on 30.08.2014, relating to the death of late G.K.Moopanar, near the statute erected in his memory, at Uchi Pillaiyar Koil Paguthi, Sarangapani East Street, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District, by imposing any reasonable conditions, as may be found fit and proper for conducting the memorial prayer meeting, peacefully, without any law and order problem, being created at the site in question. 5. This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
