JUDGMENT Dilip Gupta, J. The petition under Article 226 of the Constitution involves a dispute between the father and the son. The petitioner is the father while the fifth respondent is the son. In these proceedings, the reliefs, which the petitioner seeks, are as follows : "i. Issue an appropriate order, direction or writ against the respondent No.3 and 4 herein i.e. General Manager, Union Bank of India, Chandra Chamber, Third Floor, Club Road, (Central Jail Road), Varanasi and Branch Manager, Union Bank of India, Branch-Khajrahat, District-Sonbhadra to look into grievance of the petitioner herein qua siphoning of Money concerning his saving account no.436502010011216 by the respondent no.5 in surreptious manner by impersonating himself as petitioner. ii. Issue an appropriate order, direction or writ against the respondent no.4 herein i.e. General Manager, Union Bank of India, Chandra Chamber, Third Floor, Club Road, (Central Jail Road), Varanasi to decide the representation dated 12-03-2014 (Annexure No.9 to the writ petition) by a reasoned and speaking order within stipulated period of time for achieving ends of justice." 2. From an earlier order passed by this Court in Writ-C No.11358 of 2013 on 4 March 2013, it appears that the petitioner has filed a suit which is pending before the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Jaunpur. In the present case, the allegation of the petitioner is against the respondent no.5 in respect of the operation of a savings account. 3. The petitioner, having due regard to the nature of the grievance, would have to access the normal civil remedy. No useful purpose would be served by merely directing the bank to look into the grievances of the petitioner since they pertain to a civil dispute. Any relief which the petitioner seeks would have to be appropriately addressed to the Court of competent civil jurisdiction. We leave it open to the petitioner to do so. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
