Judgment 1. The petitioner in the normal course would retire on 31.08.2014. The petitioner by placing reliance on the Government Order in G.O.1643, Education (U2) Department, dated 27.1982 submitted a representation to the first respondent through the second respondent to permit her to continue upto 31.05.2015. The said representation is now pending before the first respondent. 2. The petitioner now seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to give her reemployment as B.T. Assistant (History) from 01.09.2014 to 31.05.2015. 3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner to the first respondent through the second respondent is pending with the Chief Educational Officer, Dindigul. 4. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 23.07.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The petitioner should be permitted to continue by way of re-employment till the disposal of the representation by the first respondent. 6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
