Judgment : 1. Based on the second respondent/de-facto complainant, F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.126 of 2013 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 323, 427, 506(i) IPC and 4 of TNWH Act, r/w 3(1)(x)SC/ST Act, The said F.I.R is challenged before this Court. 2. When the matter is called today, all the parties are present before this Court and the second respondent would categorically make a statement that the issue between the petitioners and the second respondent has been settled with the intervention of the elders in the village and does not want to continue the proceedings. The second respondent also filed an affidavit stating that the matter has been compromised. 3. In view of the above development, no fruitful result will be achieved by further proceeding in the matter. 4. In view of the above, the Crime No.126 of 2013 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Melavalavu Police Station, Madurai District, is quashed against the petitioners and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
