Judgment : 1. The petitioner contends that she is the wife of the proposed accused and their marriage was solemnized on 05.05.2011, however, the proposed accused is making attempts to marry with one M.Kamaleswari at the instance of the elders of family on 31.08.2014. In this regard, the petitioner gave a complaint on 22.08.2014. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the second respondent police already registered an F.I.R in Crime No.5 of 2014 on 27.08.2014 and the accused was also arrested and the celebration of the second marriage was also prevented. 4. In view of that, the second respondent is directed to conduct the investigation and file a final report as early as possible. 5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
