Judgment 1. The petitioner was initially appointed as Multipurpose Health Worker on 11.03.1958 and subsequently, he was promoted as Multipurpose Health Worker Special Grade. The nomenclature of the post was later changed to Village Health Nurse. The petitioner retired from service on 30.06.1991. 2. According to the petitioner, the Government vide letter No.63305/Pay Cell/2010-I, dated 08.11.2010, had revised the minimum pay to the Village Health Nurse Special Grade to Rs.9300/- and Grade Pay to Rs.4400/-. The revision of pay was made effective from 01.01.2006. 3. The petitioner has come up with a contention that the Government issued an order in G.O.Ms.No.235, Finance (P.C.) Department, dated 01.06.2009, stipulating that the minimum pension should not be less than 50% of the revised pay in the pay band and 50% of the grade pay. Since the pension amount of the petitioner was not fixed in the light of G.O.Ms.No.235, Finance (P.C.) Department, dated 01.06.2009, the petitioner submitted a representation on 21.05.2013. However, there was no follow up action taken by the third respondent. 4. The third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21.05.2013, in the light of the order in G.O.Ms.No.235, Finance (P.C.) Department, dated 01.06.2009. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
