Judgment : 1. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Madurai Kamaraj University, by placing reliance on the communication sent by the University, submitted that the University has already taken a decision to withdraw the nomination of third respondent to the syndicate of Madurai Kamaraj University. 2. In view of the subsequent events culminating in withdrawing the nomination of third respondent by the University, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions. 3. The writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected M.P.(md).Nos.2 and 3 of 2014 are also dismissed. No costs.
