Judgment 1. The petitioner appointed one Miss. V. Ramya as Junior Assistant on 25.04.2014. The appointment was made against a sanctioned post. The petitioner submitted an application for approval before the second respondent. However, there was no follow-up action taken by the second respondent to dispose of the proposal for approval. 2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the proposal made by the petitioner dated 25.04.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
