Judgment M. Jaichandren, J. 1. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 and 2 herein from shifting the office of the third respondent Panchayat from the existing village of Rukmaniammalpuram Village to any other nearby village, in the V.K. Pudur Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2. Heard Mr. A. Saravanan, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. T.S. Mohammed Mohideen, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr. Ananth C. Rajesh, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent. 3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, had submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.07.2014, with regard to the location of the Panchayat Office of North Kavalkurichi, said to be situated at K. Navaneethakrishnapuram, would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the first respondent after considering the claims of the petitioner and the fourth respondent as well. 4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, the first respondent is directed to consider the claims of the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and the other parties, if any, with regard to the location of the Panchayat Office of North Kavalkurichi said to be located at K. Navaneethakrishnapuram and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible. 5. This writ petition stands disposed of as above. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
