Judgment : 1. The petitioner is presently working as Office Assistant. His next avenue of promotion is Revenue Assistant. In view of pendency of disciplinary proceedings, he was not considered for promotion to the post of Revenue Assistant. 2. According to the petitioner, after the expiry of the check period, he submitted a representation on 21.01.2013, 12.02.2013, requesting the respondent to promote him to the post of Revenue Assistant. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondent. This made the petitioner to file this writ petition. 3. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations dated 21.01.2013, 12.02.2013 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected M.P.No.1 of 2013 is closed. No costs.
