Judgment 1. Though the petitioner has filed a petition seeking a direction to the respondents to expedite the investigation in Crime No.307 of 2012 dated 26.04.2012, a status report has been filed by the second respondent as per the order of this Court and it reveals that the petitioner had acted as an agent of a financial firm namely 'PAZEE' of Tiruppur and he himself started an agency in the name and style of "Global Capital Trading Service" in Madurai and in other places. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents. 3. Since the matter is a serious matter defrauding the public to the tune of Crores, the direction as sought for cannot be granted. However, the respondents police are directed to investigate the matter thoroughly and file a final report as early as possible. 4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
