Judgment : S. Manikumar, J. 1. On this day, when the petition for writ of habeas corpus is taken up for hearing, Mr.C.Mayil Vahana Rajendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that in connection with Cr.No.242 of 2014, registered under Section 27 of the Indian Arms Act and Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, on the file of the Srivilliputhur Town Police Station, the alleged detenu had already been arrested on 21.09.2014 and produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, now, in confinement in Sub-Jail, Virudhunagar. 2. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ of habeas corpus petition is not maintainable and the same is dismissed.
