Judgment 1. The petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 06.12.2012 and measure the land bearing Survey No.46 of Thuvarimaan Village, Madurai South Taluk and more specifically demarcate the petitioners' land bearing Survey No.46/8 after serving due notices to the parties and following the usual practice contemplated under Survey rules. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3. Since the neighbouring/adjacent land owners are not made parties to this Writ Petition, no positive direction can be granted. Therefore, there will be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2012, after issuing notice to all the neighbouring/adjacent land owners and to all persons who are likely to be aggrieved and then pass reasoned orders, in accordance with law and on merits, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
