Judgment S. Manikumar, J. 1. Seeking issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to secure and produce minor P.Sakthi Denniskumar, writ has been filed. 2. Police has secured and produced the alleged detenu and when we enquired the alleged detenu, he submitted that as he was not interested in continuing his studies, discontinued the same and went to Chennai. He stated that he was working in a hotel. When we further enquired, we came to know that he was studying in 10th standard in Alagumalar Matriculation School at Manalur and he was within the top 20s in the class. Though he discontinued his studies, we wish him to continue his education. The alleged detenu is also desirous of the same. Therefore, we request the respondents, to make a request to the Management of Alagumalar Matriculation School at Manalur, to permit the alleged detenu to continue his education. School authorities are requested to condone the absence so that one year of his life time need not be wasted. Counselling be given. 3. With the above directions, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of. No costs.
