Judgment : 1. This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer for issuance of writ of certiorari to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent, the Chief Engineer, Personnel, Chennai in letter No.018166/4/G.59/G.591/2012-2, dated 28.06.2013 and to quash the same and pass appropriate order. 2. During the pendency of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has given a letter dated 07.10.2014 addressing the Registrar (Judicial) seeking liberty to withdraw the writ petition. 3. In view of the letter dated 07.10.2014, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD).No.2 of 2013 is also dismissed. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD).Nos.2 of 203 and 4 of 2014 are also dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
