Judgment : 1. None appears for the Petitioner. 2. The Learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the Respondents. 3. It transpires from the contents of the affidavit filed by the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition that the Petitioner is a Dharmakartha and Priest of the Temple of Arulmighu Sri Muthumariamman Thirukkovil situated at Pasuvanthanai road, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District. The lands in S.No.654/17 Pasuvanthanai Village is classified as Government Poramboke land as per 'A' register. However, the said land was occupied by the third party and they obtained patta in their names. Coming to know of the same, he made a representation to the First and Second Respondents on 7/3/2014. Even, after receipt of his representation, the Respondents have reportedly not taken any positive action in the matter in issue. 4. The Petitioner made a representation once again on 4/7/2014 before the Respondents 1 and 2 requesting them to cancel the patta which stands in the name of third party in S.No.654/17 as stated supra and also made a further request to enquire into the matter in regard to the forged document being created in favour of third parties, etc. After the receipt of his representation dated 4/7/2014, the First Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District, sent a communication to the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District on 20/8/2014, instructing him to take steps to cancel the patta issued in S.No.654/17 at Pasuvanthanai road, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District with a copy being marked. In spite of the aforesaid communication dated 20/8/2014 from the First Respondent, the Second Respondent had not taken any action. Hence the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 5. In view of the fact that the First Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District had issued a communication to the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District on 20/8/2014 by giving necessary instructions to take steps to cancel the patta issued in S.No.654/2013, Pasuvanthanai Road, Kovilpatti Taluk (with a copy being marked to the Petitioner), this Court on the basis of Equity, Fair Play, Good Conscience and even as a matter of prudence, directs the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Kovilpatti Taluk to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 4/7/2014 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order (of course, after providing necessary opportunities to the respective parties concerned). 6.
