Judgment S. Rajeswaran, J. The petition has been filed by the petitioner claiming that he is related to the detenus, who are the petitioner's mother's sister Balamani, aged about 78 years and the petitioner's mother's brother Peter, aged about 65 years. 2. The third and fourth respondents were the purchasers of the subject property and they are represented by their respective counsel. According to them, the whereabouts of the detenus are not known to the said respondents. These respondents also denied the allegations made by the petitioner against them. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the detenus are available at present at Udhavaum Karangal, Madhuravoyal. According to the learned Additional Public prosecutor, the detenus have been there viz., at Udhavum Karangal, from the year 1993. The said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. 4. Since the detenus, being Senior Citizens, are available at Udhavum Karangal from the year 1993 and the allegations made by the petitioner as against respondents 3 and 4 are denied by their respective counsel, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law and in our considered opinion filing of Habeas Corpus Petition is not the proper remedy in the present circumstances. 5. With the above observations, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
