Judgment : 1. The petitioner contends that he purchased the vacant site of the land measuring about 6 cents comprised in Survey No.52/16D situated at Nadu Madurai village in Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, through a registered document No.5865/2001 and he constructed a house, in which, he is in possession. 2. Since the petitioner's land boundaries are not in uniformity, the petitioner wants to measure the property. At that time, the neighbouring land owners, namely, Veerangan, Vellaichamy and Indira objected to measure the property. In this regard, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondents, on 11.06.2014, to provide adequate police protection for lives and limbs of the petitioner and his family members, but the respondents had not considered the same. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3. There is no appearance for the petitioner. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents. 4. If there is any dispute regarding the boundaries, definitely, the property has to be measured in consonance with the title deeds as well as the revenue records. The petitioner wants to measure the properties and it should be done through proper authorities. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to avail the services of the revenue authorities to measure the property. The revenue authorities shall give notice to the petitioner as well as the other neighbours and fix the date for measurement. On that particular day, the revenue authorities are directed to measure the property in consonance with the title deeds of the properties along with revenue records. During the time of measurement by the revenue authorities, the respondents police are directed to give police protection to the petitioner. It is also made clear that the revenue authorities shall give notice to all the parties concerned before taking measurement. 5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
