Judgment : This is a transfer petition filed by the wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.4729 of 2012 from the file of Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Subordinate Judge, Padmanabhapuram. 2. Learned counsel appearing on both sides submitted that when the parties were referred to Mediation, they have arrived at a settlement and therefore, the transfer petition is unnecessary at this stage. 3. A perusal of the report sent by the Mediation and Conciliation Centre discloses that the following are the terms of settlement: "1. Both the parties are agreed to settle the matter amicably. 2. Both the parties were agreed to get divorce by mutual consent by filing appropriate application before Family Court, Chennai. 3. The respondent is agreed to return back available Household articles forthwith. 4. The petitioner is agreed to handover the degree certificate (B.E.) and consolidated Mark statement to the respondent forthwith. 5. The petitioner is not claiming any maintenance from the respondent." 4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
