Judgment : 1. Heard the Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents. 2. The relief sought for by the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is for passing of an order by this Court in directing the Respondent to survey and measure the lands of the Petitioner, situated in S.No.652 of an extent of 3-1/2 cents and 34 Sq.ft., situated at Allinagaram at Theni, Theni District, based on Petitioner's Application, dated 28.07.2014, within the time stipulated by this Court. 3. According to the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, the Petitioner is in enjoyment of 3-1/2 cents and 34 Sq.ft., of land in S.No.652, situated at Allinagaram at Theni, Theni District, without any hindrance from the date of his purchase from G.Pethannasamy. Further, the Petitioner submitted an application in the prescribed format before the Respondent by paying necessary fee in Government Treasury and enclosing the necessary document on 28.07.2014, making a request to survey and measure his property and to fix the necessary boundaries with a view to protect his land. 4. The main grievance of the Petitioner is that the Respondent has not considered his Representation / Application dated 28.07.2014 in accordance with law and as on date, the said Application is pending without any progress in the matter in issue. 5. In view of the fact that the Respondent / Statutory Authority is necessarily to take immediate steps to survey and measure the Petitioner's land, of course, on payment of prescribed fee, for the purpose in issue, this Court, in the interest of justice and without any further loss of time, directs the Respondent / Tahsildar, Theni, Theni District, to look into the representation of the Petitioner, dated 28.07.2014, in a Fair, Just and Dispassionate manner and dispose of the said representation, on merits (of course, after providing due opportunities to the Petitioner and other concerned parties, if any) by adhering to the principles of natural justice. 6. With the aforesaid direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
