Judgment 1. The petitioner has completed M.Phil (IT) at Bharathiyar University. A request was made by the petitioner for appointment for the post of Temporary Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science before the respondents 3 and 4. As the said request has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. In spite of notice, none appears for respondents 3 and 4. 2. Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer and without going into the merits of the writ petition, respondents 3 and 4 are directed to pass appropriate orders on the application made by the petitioner dated 16.07.2014 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
