Judgment : 1. Heard the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the Learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents. 2. The prayer sought for by the Writ Petitioner in the present Writ Petition (MD) No.17296 of 2014 is only to consider her representation dated 18/5/2013 by the First Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District. 3. In fact, the Petitioner has sought a 'Destitute Widow Certificate' in her favour and her grievance appears to be that even after the receipt of the detailed report from the Second Respondent/Tahsildar, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, the First Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District had not issued the 'Destitute Widow Certificate' to her. 4. In view of the fact that the Petitioner's request to obtain a Destitute Widow Certificate in her favour is a legitimate, reasonable and genuine one, this Court in the interest of Justice and Fair Play, directs the First Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 18/5/2013 for issuance of 'Destitute Widow Certificate' in her favour within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. If any opportunity is to be provided to the Petitioner, then the First Respondent is to provide adequate/enough opportunity to the Petitioner and the Petitioner is to avail the same to her maximum advantage. 5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
