Judgment 1. Though the petitioner seeks for a larger relief of mandamus in this writ petition directing the respondents to pay the retirement benefits-Provident Fund and Gratuity totally of Rs.21,30,632.71/- with 12% interest from the date of retirement to till payment, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it is suffice if the pending representations of the petitioner dated 19.5.2014 and 7.6.2014 are directed to be considered and disposed of by the 2ndrespondent. 2. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 19.5.2014 and 7.6.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
