Judgment 1. Mr. S. Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr. Sam Edwin Raj, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final hearing. 2. Petitioner is working as a Lecturer with the second respondent. The post in which the petitioner has been working has been sanctioned with effect from the year 2007. In and by the proceeding of the first respondent dated 26.07.2007 seeking regularization from the date of his initial appointment on 17.06.2002. The petitioner made a representation on 05.03.2014. As no orders have been passed, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending representation will have to be considered and appropriate orders are required to be passed by the first respondent. The learned counsel has also made reliance upon the proceedings of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No. 19837/F2/2007 dated 14.03.2014, by which one D. Devasampath and G. Isac Aruldas have been granted relief. 4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the representation, this Court is constrained to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 05.03.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While passing the above said order, the first respondent will have to consider the applicability of the order, dated 14.03.2014. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
