Judgment 1. Seeking a direction to the second respondent to file a charge sheet in Crime No.729 of 2014 on 14.04.2014 for the offence under Sections 420, 406 & 506 (i) I.P.C., against the accused, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2. This petition has come up today for admission. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and I have also perused the records carefully. 3. A perusal of the complaint would go to show that the F.I.R., itself was registered only on 14.04.2014. The offences involved in this cases are grave in nature. Hence, it is needless to point out that the respondent police require some more time to thoroughly investigate the matter. 4. In such view of the matter, the direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be given by this Court. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation. 5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
