Judgment 1. Though notice of motion was ordered and interim stay was granted as early as 13.08.2007, the petitioner has not paid batta for the past 7 years. 2. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition stands dismissed for not paying batta for the past 7 years. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
