Judgment : 1. The petitioner is the wife of Late Chandrasekaran, who was employed as a Animal Husbandry Assistant in the respondent department. He died on 30.03.1990. The petitioner has filed this Original Application to quash the order of the respondent dated 11.09.2002 and for a consequential direction to grant her terminal and pensionary benefits due to the death of her husband. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader has filed a memo dated 17.11.2014 to the following effect:- "1. It is humbly submitted that the applicant has filed the above Writ Petition bearing the W.P.No.16607/2007 in O.A.No.1329/2003. For quash the respondents proceedings dated 11.09.2002 vide Na.Ka.No.1744/Aa-1/1999. 2. The applicant's Husband deceased N.Chandrasekaran was worked in the Animal Husbandry Department as a Animal Husbandry Assistant and he was died on 30.03.1990. Subsequently the 2nd wife's daughter C.R.Aruna Devi also filed in O.A.No.7361/1995 for the same relief. The said O.A. was disposed off, at present no claims made by the 2nd wife daughter C.R. Aruna Devi. It is submitted that the applicant also did not come forward to approach this office after filing this O.A. The respondent authority also send letters to the applicant but no response from the applicant. The authority/the respondent is ready and willing to settle terminal benefits of deceased N.Chandrasekaran to the legal heirs, if she approaches authority for the relief with relevant records." 3. In view of the memo filed by the respondent, no further adjudication is necessary. Recording the memo filed by the respondent, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
