ORDER The petitioner, in the present writ application, seeks a direction upon the respondents to grant him Central 6th Pay Revision, 2006 with effect from 01.01.2006. The petitioner is an employee under Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA). 2. A communication dated 07.05.2013 has been brought on record by way of annexure-5 to the present writ application, which is a letter written by Managing Director of BIADA to the Principal Secretary, Industries Department, Government of Bihar, Patna whereby the Managing Director has sought concurrence of the department for granting benefits of Central 6th Pay Revision in the light of decision taken by the Board of Directors in its 42nd meeting. It appears from the said communication that the Board of Directors in its meeting approved implementation of Central 6th Pay Revision with a condition that BIADA will bear the expenses from its own resources in this regard. 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents that the matter is under consideration. 4. In view of above, I dispose of this writ application with a direction to the respondents to take a final decision, as regards implementation of Central 6th Pay Revision to the employees of BIADA, within a period of six months from the date of production/ communication of a copy of this order. 5. I have taken into account the submission made on behalf of the BIADA that it is prerogative of employer to fix the date of implementation of a pay scale. 6. It goes without saying that the petitioner, if aggrieved, shall have liberty to challenge the decision of the respondents in this regard in accordance with law before the appropriate forum.
