JUDGMENT Mr. M. Jeyapaul, J. (Oral):- The petition has been filed praying for regular bail by Rai Bahadur Singh in a case under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 474 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. 2. Heard the submissions made on either side. 3. The allegation against the petitioner-Rai Bahadur Singh is that the petitioner having posed himself as Nachattar Singh father of the real owners of the property, received cash payment that was handed over by his daughter in law Parminder Kaur in connection with a fraudulent sale transaction clinched through impersonation. 4. The FIR reveals that the amount was in fact entrusted to the son of the petitioner, but the amount was handed over along with the cheque by the daughter in law to the petitioner herein. 5. The co-accused Parminder Kaur was released on bail by this Court. There is a specific allegation that the cash amount and the cheque were received by the sons of the petitioner. The petitioner, who is 68 years old, has undergone three months and nineteen days as on 17.03.2014. 6. For, all these reasons, I find that the petitioner has made out a case for grant of regular bail. 7. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on her furnishing bail bond to the satisfaction of CJM/Duty Magistrate, Ludhiana. ---------0.B.S.0------------
