JUDGMENT Mr. Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.:- Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to petitioner Harjinder Singh who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in a case arising out of FIR No.55, dated 31.08.2013, registered at Police Station, Garhdiwala, District Hoshiarpur. 2. From the perusal of the petition, it transpires that 100 grams of intoxicant powder which was later on found Alprazolam was recovered from the petitioner on 31.08.2013 and since then, he is behind the bars. 3. Learned counsel for the State very fairly concedes that the contraband so recovered from the petitioner is of noncommercial quantity. He, on instructions from HC Sukhjinder Singh, Police Station, Gardhiwal, District Hoshiarpur, concedes that the petitioner is neither required nor involved in any other case. 4. In view of the material available on record and after hearing the learned counsel for the State, the present petition is allowed. Petitioner-Harjinder Singh, s/o Sukhwant Singh, r/o village Bercha, Police Station, Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur, is ordered to be released on bail during the pendency of the trial of the present case subject to his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Hoshiarpur. ---------0.B.S.0------------
