Judgment 1. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2009 and 18.02.2013 for assignment of the wet land in R.S.No.142/3 corresponding Cadastre No.159/2pt to an extent of 0.14.00 Ares and R.S.No.89/7 corresponding Cadastre No.227pt to an extent of 0.09.50 Ares totaling to an extent of 23.50 Acres at Nallambal, Karaikal Taluk, Karaikal in favour of the petitioner. 2. Even though the petitioner has submitted his representation to the 1st and 2nd respondents dated 9.10.2009 and 18.02.2013, the 1st and 2nd respondents have not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioner to move this Court for the above direction. 3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the 1st and 2nd respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 9.10.2009 and 18.02.2013 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law after issuing notice to the petitioner and after conducting enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
