Judgment 1. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove Electricity Distribution Junction Box situated at New No.52, Old No.66, Subramania Mudali Street, Saidapet (West), Chennai – 600 015 to any other safety place pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2014. 2. Even though the petitioner has submitted his representation to the respondents dated 03.02.2014, the respondents have not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioner to move this Court for the above direction. 3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the 2nd respondent/Chairman (Superintending Engineer) is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after conducting enquiry, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
