Judgment : 1. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass order on the appeal made by the petitioner's Principal on 26.02.2014 through messenger stating that the Periyar Centenary Polytechnic, Vallam, Thanjavur is comes under the Government aided college to treat with. 2. Even though the petitioner has submitted his representation to the respondent dated 26.02.2014, the respondent has not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioner to move this Court for the above direction. 3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after conducting enquiry, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the meantime, the respondent is directed not to disconnect the electricity service connection. 4. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
