ORDER : I.A. No. 46/2014 has been filed by the State of Telengana. It is stated that in terms of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 the State Telengana has been created on 2nd June, 2014. After bifurcation of the State, cadre allocation has not yet taken place. The framing of the modalities of the fee reimbursement scheme in applicant State involve huge exercises and there is no adequate cadre strength and officers working in the applicant State against the requirement. Therefore prayer has been made to extend further period for conducting counselling and admissions in the engineering colleges and other institutions which expired on 31st July, 2014. 2. Another I.A.No.47/2014 has been file by "Telengana State Council of Higher Education" with prayer for impleadment and similar prayer. I.A. without number has been filed by "Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education" with similar prayer. 3. On 4th August, 2014 the following order was passed : "Learned counsel for the parties submit that a consensus will arrive to extend the period for admission of the student by 31st August, 2014. A number of applications have been filed by the parties in this regard. Post the matter on 11th August,2014 for final disposal of the I.As. In the meantime, parties may proceed with admission." 4. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that State of Telengana has been created recently on 2.6.2014 and both the states i.e. newly created State of Telengana and the State of Andhra Pradesh may face some difficulty to complete the admission process within the time stipulated. We allow the prayer. Both the States of Telengana and Andhra Pradesh and the Competent Authorities will complete the counselling and admission in engineering colleges and other institutions by 31st August, 2014 in accordance with law. The extension of time will be applicable to the State of Andhra Pradesh and newly created State of Telengana and not the other State. 5. I.A Nos. 46/2014, I.A No.47/2014 and unregistered application for impleadment filed by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education stand disposed of.
