body2014
Judgment : M. Jaichandren, J. 1. Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners had submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to pass orders on the representations of the petitioners, dated 18.3.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame specified by this Court. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent has no objection for this court passing such an order. 3. In such circumstances, we find it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 18.3.2014, if they are otherwise in order, and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners shall furnish a copy of the representations, dated 18.3.2014, to the respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
