JUDGMENT 1.Learned counsel for the rival parties are heard on the question of admission. 2. This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India raises grievance of non granting benefit of 2nd time bound promotion granted to the petitioner on completion of 24 years of service. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner on the question of admission submits that the issue involved herein is covered by the decision of this Court dated 26/01/2007 passed in the case of Smt. Prerna Vs. State of Madhya Pradesh, W.P. No. 6773 of 2006, which holds the field till date and prays for similar directions in favour of the petitioner. 4. The State counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of with the following directions:- (a) The petitioner is directed to re-submit representation before the competent authority alongwith copy of this order and the copy of order passed by this Court in the case of Prerna (supra) within a period of 30 days from today. (b) In case, the above said directions is complied with, then the above said authority shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of representation alongwith copy of this order. (c) In case the petitioner is entitled for the relief sought by him, the same be granted to him thereafter as expeditiously as possible. This Court hastens to add that no finding on the merits of claim of the petitioner raised herein has been rendered by this Court. No order as to cost.
