JUDGMENT Mr. T.P.S. Mann, J. (Oral) - Prayer made in the present petition is for the grant of regular bail to the petitioners in case FIR No. 115 dated 12.5.2014 under Sections 406, 419, 420 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Focal Point, Ludhiana City. 2. As per the FIR registered on the basis of an application submitted by Rita Gulati, the petitioners after hatching a conspiracy to cause wrongful loss to her and her son Dixit Gulati and wrongful gain to themselves, obtained her signatures as well as that of her son Dixit Gulati on blank stamp papers and blank papers on the pretext that they were required for running the business. However, they misused those papers so as to forge and fabricate various types of documents like dissolution deed, rent deed, etc. 3. The petitioners are in custody since 12.5.2014. All the offences alleged against the petitioners are triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate. The investigation of the case is complete and, therefore, the petitioners are not required for any further investigation. It is another thing that the police has not presented the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. on the premise that an enquiry is being conducted by a senior police officer. However, the fact remains that the complainant has not denied her signatures as well as that of her son Dixit Gulati on the various documents, said to have been forged and fabricated by the petitioners. 4. The trial of the case is likely to take a long time. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioners behind the bars. 5. Resultantly, the petition is accepted.
