Judgment :- 1. The petitioner has sought for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue Refund Voucher to enable him to get refund of the excess paid tax and additional sales tax together with interest @ 12% per annum from 18.03.2002 till date of issue of Refund Voucher as per Rule 32(2) of the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Rules, 1959 and Section 24(4) of the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Act, 1959. 2. Mr. A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. 3. A perusal of the typed set of papers, it is seen that the petitioner has given several representations, dated 18.10.2011, 22.02.2012, 04.07.2012, 02.07.2013 and 07.05.2014 to the respondent in this regard. 4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 18.10.2011, 22.02.2012, 04.07.2012, 02.07.2013 and 07.05.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
