Judgment 1. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal Nos. 3044 of 2014 and 3136 of 2014 pending on his file. 2. Mr. S. Chandrasekaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders in the petitioner's appeal Nos.3044 of 2014 and 3136 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that such order shall be passed after giving notice to all the parties and after service completion and after getting necessary report in this regard. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
