JUDGMENT : 1. We have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2. These Special Appeals have been filed against the judgment of learned Single Judge, dated 29.01.2014, in S.B. Civil Writ Petition Nos.8095/2013, 8097/2013 and 8019/2013, by which the writ petitions were dismissed against the orders, passed by the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal, Rajasthan, Jaipur, directing the State of Rajasthan to grant the benefit of second selection scale in the pay scale of Sub Inspector of Police on the premise that dog squad is a technical wing, where the next promotion from the post of Head Constable is to the post of Sub Inspector. 3. An interim order was passed by this Court on 27.02.2015, on the ground that against the judgment passed by the Division Bench in State of Rajasthan & Anr. Vs. Jagdish Prasad & Anr. (D.B. Civil Special Appeal(W) No.161/2012), the Supreme Court has granted an interim order in the contempt proceedings for implementation of the judgment of the Division Bench. This Court had passed the interim order on 27.02.2015, awaiting the orders, to be passed by the Supreme Court in the Civil Appeals. 4. We are informed that Civil Appeal No.1766 of 2015- State of Rajasthan And Ors. Vs. Banney Khan, and other connected civil Appeals, have been dismissed by the Supreme Court on 12.05.2015, with the following order:- “We have heard learned counsel for the parties to the lis and carefully perused the material available on record. In our considered opinion, we do not find any infirmity in the impugned judgments and orders passed by the High Court. Accordingly, the Civil Appeals are dismissed.” 5. With the dismissal of the Civil Appeals by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the orders passed by learned Single Judge, as affirmed by the Division Bench, have been confirmed and have become final. 6. The Special Appeals are, consequently, dismissed. 7. A copy of the judgment will be placed in the connected files.
