ORDER : We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Solicitor General for the respondent. 2. Considering the fact that the sentence is for a period of ten years and the petitioner has already put in seven years, four months in custody, this is a fit case for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 3. Under the circumstances, we grant bail to the petitioner on the condition that he shall deposit in cash an amount of Rs.25,000/- with the trial court and shall appear in the concerned police station on the 4th Monday of every month at 11 a.m. 4. The special leave petition is accordingly disposed of.
