JUDGMENT B. RAJENDRAN, J. 1. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to grant the petitioner old age pension as requested in the application of the petitioner dated 10.12.2013. 2. Mr. N. Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent. 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the application of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner dated 10.12.2013 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
