Judgment Deepak Gupta, J. We are not going to the factual aspects of the case. However, it would be pertinent to mention that earlier a Writ Petition was filed by the petitioner being WP(C) 405 of 2012 which was disposed of on 09.09.2013 with the following directions:- “Therefore, it would meet justice if the petitioner is directed to submit the requisite documents to respondent No.2 within a period of one month, as sought for by Mr. Bhattacharjee, and upon receipt of the documents as required, respondent No.2 shall examine the claim of the petitioner and if the petitioner is entitled to any amount for the work done by him, then the authority should pay him the said amount at an early date, preferably within a period of three months. The respondent No.2 may give the petitioner a personal hearing before passing the final order. Ordered accordingly. With the aforesaid order, the instant writ petition is disposed of.” 2. Thereafter the petitioner has submitted a number of documents to the District Magistrate. On 30th September, 2014 the District Magistrate and Collector, Dhalai District addressed a letter to the petitioner directing the petitioner to again submit required information. According to the petitioner he has submitted the said documents along with his letter (AnnexureP/8 to the writ petition) in November, 2014. More than four months have been elapsed. A decision must be taken by the District Magistrate on these documents and we, therefore, dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the District Magistrate to consider the documents filed and take a decision on the matter within a period of 4 (four) weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him. 3. Copy of this order be handed over to the learned counsel of the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of.
