JUDGMENT : Mansoor Ahmad Mir, J. Petitioner has sought writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to enter his name in the column of ownership in respect of land comprised in Khasra No.591(old), new Khasra Nos.172 to 184 and 188, measuring 2117.37 square meters, situated in Up Muhal Krishna Nagar Bazar, Ward Bara Shimla, Shimla (Rural), on the grounds taken in the memo of writ petition. 2. Respondents No.1 and 2 have filed the reply, which was adopted by respondent No.3. Rejoinder has also been filed by the petitioner. 3. In the facts of the case, we deem it proper to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.2 to examine the case of the petitioner in light of the averments contained in the writ petition, alongwith anneuxres appended thereto, read with the Rules occupying the field, within six weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. 4. Needless to say that in case the order goes against the petitioner, he is at liberty to challenge the same. 5. Pending CMPs, if any, also stand disposed of.
