JUDGMENT : Mansoor Ahmad Mir, J. Petitioner-Company has sought writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant permanent registration to its Unit and not to pass any penal orders against it. Respondents have filed the reply. 2. It is a moot question whether the writ petition is maintainable. However, we leave this question open and dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents/competent Authority to examine the representation of the petitioner, dated 22nd March, 2012, (Annexure P-12), and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from today. Instead, the petitioner is also at liberty to file fresh representation before the respondents encapsulating all the grounds taken in the writ petition within a period of one week from today and the respondents/competent Authority is directed to examine the said representation within two weeks from the receipt thereof. 3. Pending CMPs, if any, also stand disposed of.
