JUDGMENT Mr. Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral):- Case has been called out second time since morning. 2. Learned State counsel has referred to affidavit dated 22.12.2014 filed by Sh. Sukhdev Raj, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Pathankot. 3. Para 2 whereof reads as under:- “That the possession of land in dispute was taken by the Gram Panchayat Naushehra Nal Bandan, Tehsil and District Pathankot in the year 2008 from Shri Mohinder Singh (present petitioner). The total land in dispute is 79 Kanals 14 Marlas. The aforesaid land was leased out for the year 2008-09 to Parminder Singh son of Jaswinder Singh. Thereafter presently, the said land was leased out on 10.6.2013 by the Gram Panchayat to Shri Ajit Singh son of Ujagar Singh for two years i.e. 2013-14 and 2014-15 for Rs.57,000/- per year lease.” For Subsequent orders see CM-1738-CWP-2015, COCP-707-2009, -- and 1 more. 4. According to learned State counsel, in view of above, present writ petition has been rendered infructuous. 5. None appears on behalf of petitioner to controvert this contention. 6. This petition is, thus, dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
