JUDGMENT Manoj Misra, J. Heard learned counsel for the applicants; learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 2. The instant application has been filed for stay of the proceedings of Case No. 808 of 2012 till the report of handwriting expert in respect of receipt, which has been sent to the expert for examination, is obtained. 3. Such prayer of the applicants cannot be accepted inasmuch as the receipt is not the only evidence on which the prosecution case is based. It is always expected of the Court to give reasonable opportunity to the parties to lead their evidence. Under the circumstances, no ground is made out to stay proceeding. Subject to aforesaid observation, the application is dismissed.
