JUDGMENT 1. Called in revised. None appeared on behalf of petitioner. In the circumstances, we ourselves have perused the record. 2. The only relief sought in the petition is that respondents no. 2 and 3 be directed to lodge first information report against respondents no. 4, 5 and 6. 3. If the report has not been lodged by police, a statutory alternative remedy is available to informant to move an application before Magistrate concerned under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. In the circumstances, since petitioner has a statutory alternative remedy, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition on the ground of alternative remedy. 4. Dismissed.
