JUDGMENT Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate. 2. Petitioners seek a writ of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and to see that the petitioners are not harassed or victimized. 3. Petitioner nos. 1 and 2, namely, Smt. Laxmi and Santosh Kumar are present in the Court today and have been identified by the learned counsel appearing on their behalf. 4. It is the case of the petitioners that that the petitioners are major and have married out of their own freewill. The respondents are harassing them. 5. In such a situation, we are of the view that the petitioners have remedy to move appropriate application under Section 36 of Cr.P.C. before the Superintendent of Police concerned. If any such application is moved, the Superintendent of Police concerned shall take necessary action in the matter in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, writ petition stands disposed of.
