JUDGMENT K. RAVICHANDRABAABU, J. 1. Mr. K.K. Senthil, learned Counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr. R. Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the third respondent and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. In these writ petitions, the petitioners are seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to sanction increment along with attendant benefits, arrears from the date of their initial appointment i.e. from 30.01.2010. 3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the third respondent. 4. The grievance of the petitioners in each writ petitions is that even though they were initially appointed for a period of probation, the appointment was subsequently made permanent and even thereafter, the increments which are liable to be paid to the petitioners periodically and other attendant benefits have not been paid to them so far. 5. Whether the petitioners are entitled to the relief claimed or not, is for the respondents to consider and decide and therefore, this Court is not expressing any view, as of now, on the claim made by the petitioners. However, it seen that the petitioners have made the representations to the respondents on 22.12.2014 seeking for the very same benefits. Therefore, it is for the respondents to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
